To start the new year, CSWCD is holding an open house in their new building in beautiful downtown Beavercreek from 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, 1/25/20. You’ve probably watched the new offices being built over the past several months, how’s your chance to see the inside.
The Beavercreek Farm, as they’re calling it, was bought by CSWCD back in 2013 with the idea of saving the hay fields and apple trees and to prevent development of a subdivision and destruction of the century-old barn. In fact, even before the new building started construction, CSWCD was investing thousands of dollars to stabilize and preserve the barn. The Beavercreek Demonstration Farm covers 15.15 acres including the barn, several out buildings, two natural ponds, and a small woodlot.
