COVID-19 Economic Stabilization Resources from Rep. Earl Blumenauer

On Friday, 3/27/20, the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act was signed into law. This legislation provides more than $2 trillion to support workers, small- and medium-sized businesses, and increases unemployment compensation. It also provides critical healthcare resources and funding for protective equipment to hospitals and community clinics. State, local, and tribal governments will also receive support for critical community services.

To help Oregonians navigate the sweeping changes and newly-available resources, I have created a “COVID-19 economic stabilization resources” page:

Economic Stabilization Resources

This page will be updated regularly as more information becomes available from our federal and state agency partners. It’s intended to help you use every tool at our disposal to get through these difficult times.

In the meantime, stay at home and stay healthy.
