Short-term rentals approved for unincorporated areas of the county

Short-term rentals for unincorporated areas of Clackamas County were approved in December by the Board of County Commissioners, effective Jan. 17, 2021. Short-term rentals are defined as renting a dwelling unit or portion of a dwelling unit, to any person or entity for lodging or residential purposes, for up to 30 consecutive nights In November, the Board had approved related amendments on short-term rentals. Those amendments include a registration program and regulations for short-term rentals, scheduled to go into effect July 1, 2021. More information is available on the project website.
