The Hamlet of Beavercreek, the Beaverceek Grange, and the Beaverceek Saloon/Kissin’ Kate’s are sponsoring an exciting family-fun night on Saturday, December 3rd starting with a delicious potluck meal at five p.m., but this is a potluck where the turkey, ham, potatoes and gravy are provided; all you need to bring, starting at 4:30, is a side dish or dessert. Serving will start at five.
Following the delicious dinner there will be an Ugly Sweater contest. Be brave, wear your worst 🫣, you might win!
At six-thirty Santa leads the children and families from the Grange to the Korner Park for music and hot chocolate and cider, followed at seven with lighting the lights on the big blue spruce.
There will be stockings filled with toys for the kids created by the elves, and carolers for everyone to enjoy and sing along with. If you’re feeling generous, this year the Beaverceek Lions will be accepting financial donations rather than food items.
A look behind the scenes…
Here are some pictures of the elves at work. Everyone had a great time stuffing stockings.
