Something is always happening in the Hamlet. Here’s a calendar and lists of upcoming events to see what’s going on. The list of past events is frequently updated with notes and pictures of the fun we had.

Tree School Registratio Opens
Immensly popular Tree School opens at 10:00 a.m. at beav.es/tree-school-clackamas. Tree School will occur March 22, 2025, at Clackamas Community College.

Lunch available 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. offering chicken noodle soup, vegan soup, sandwiches, and homemade pie!

35th Annual Tree School
Do you own or manage a woodland property? Are you thinking about acquiring property? Are you a land manager, forester, logger, arborist, teacher or a natural resource enthusiast? If you answered “yes” to any of these questions then Tree School is for you!
Oregon State University Extension Service Clackamas County will again sponsor Tree School, offering 73 classes, including 22 new ones, ranging from business and planning for forestry, Christmas trees, marketing, truffle dog training, wildfire, chainsaw handling, water resources, to wildlife. There’s something for everyone. Tree School is a very popular program and space fills up rapidly.
Registration online opens February 4 at 10:00 a.m. at beav.es/tree-school-clackamas so mark your calendar and set a reminder if you want to attend. Advanced registration is required, there will be no walk-in registration available at Tree School. Classes will close as they are filled or by March 7.
Bryn Seion Welsh Church Annual Lessons & Carols Service
Our annual Lessons and Carols Sevice will be held this year on December 8 at 11:00 amfollowed by our usual potluck lunch. We would like to invite anyone interested from the local community to join us.
Community Tree Lighting at the Korner Park
Join us for fun and good cheer as we light the big blue spruce in the Korner Park. Music, cookies, and hot drinks provide fun for the whole family. Tree lighting at 7:00 p.m. after Santa leads the parade from the Community Dinner at the Beavercreek Grange. Click the image if you would like to help us fill stockings for the kids.
Community Christmas Dinner at the Beavercreek Grange
Join the festivities of the community the first Saturday of December. Doors open at 4:30 for a potluck dinner at the Beavercreek Grange Hall. Dinner starts around 5:00 p.m. They are providing the Turkey and Ham, Dressing, Potatoes and Gravy, Rolls, Coffee and Punch (including Gluten Free options). Please bring a side dish, veggie, salad or dessert.
Wear your ugly sweater for our contest!
Santa is due to arrive at 6:30 pm to lead a parade down to the Korner Park for entertainment, cookies, hot cocoa and more followed by the annual community tree lighting. Come on over!
BCT Birthday!
Come help celebrate BCT serving our community for 120 years!

Beaver Creek Coöperative Telephone Company has been providing telecommunications service to the residents of Beavercreek and surrounding areas since 1904. A lot has happened, so much is yet to come. If you have service from BCT you are an owner of the company, come join staff and Board members to celebrate our 120th birthday.

Vote for the design of the Korner Park Welcome Gate

Introducing the preliminary plans for the Korner Park "Welcome Gate Project." We need our Hamlet community to help us decide which design will be the new entrance to our beloved Korner Park.
Vote for the design you like best.
Cast your vote by emailing Park@Beavercreek.org on or before Sunday, September 29, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. to count towards the final design choice. YOU MAY ONLY VOTE ONE TIME. ANY ADDITIONAL VOTES FROM THE SAME PERSON WILL NOT COUNT TOWARDS THE FINAL RESULTS.

Carus White Building Concert Fundraiser
Dear Carus Historic Schoolhouse supporters,
We continue to be in awe of the community love & support for our beloved White Building. ❤️
We hope you'll join us for our next fundraising event, Schoolhouse Blues: A Concert for the Carus Historic Schoolhouse, coming up on Friday, September 20th. It will be an evening of good tunes, delicious food, and best of all, an opportunity to celebrate the saving of our community landmark from demolition and support its transformation into a community space for all to enjoy!
If you're not able to make it, but still want to pitch in, please consider making a tax deductible donation at our website, or spreading the word about our event to other community members.

BCT Annual Meeting
Curious about what the BCT co-op has been up to? Join us at the Annual Meeting on August 15 at our Central Office.
.We'll discuss the activities and accomplishments of the year prior along with the co-op's financial standing. This is also a great opportunity to meet the leadership team and Board of Directors as well as learn about the progress on current and future projects.

National Night Out
National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. Furthermore, it provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances.
